- Jenin, Sebastia, Nablus
The tour starts driving towards Jenin. You will have an excellent opportunity for morning views of the Palestinian landscape and villages.
In Jenin, you can visit the Canaan Fair Trade for olive oil production and the Church of Burqin -The fifth holiest Christian place globally and the third oldest church. Then the Freedom Theater, a Palestinian community-based theatre and cultural center in the Jenin Refugee Camp.
Afterward, we will continue to Sebastia, home to several important archaeological sites. The ancient site of Samaria-Sebaste is located just above the built-up area of the modern-day village on the eastern slope of the hill. The ruins dominate the mountain and comprise remains from six cultures dating back 10,000 years: Canaanite, Israelite, Hellenistic, Herodian, Roman, and Byzantine.
The Samaritans have maintained a unique and intriguing lifestyle on this mount for thousands of years. It is a truly mind-blowing experience. And a visit to the Samaritan Museum can help you learn all about it.
For lunch, we'll treat you to an authentic Palestinian lunch so you can be ready and fresh for the Nablus city tour. At the Old City of Nablus, you will have the opportunity to shop and get some souvenirs. The historic streets of the Souk are filled with local vendors and a wide variety of handicrafts and produce. It has a genuinely uplifting atmosphere. Definitely, you will not leave the largest city of Palestine without tasting the famous Palestinian sweet that leaves everyone frantic 'Kunafeh.'
