Embark on a captivating journey through Muscat, the heart of Oman. As the capital city, Muscat beautifully weaves the richness of ancient Arabic architecture and cherished monuments. Admire the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, a masterpiece of world architecture. You will see the diplomatic quarter on your way to Old Muscat with its colorful Al Alam Palace, flanked by two Portuguese forts: Al Mirani and Al Jalali. Visit the Bait Al Zubair Museum with ethnologic exhibits from private collections. Afterward, drive along the panoramic corniche to Muttrah Souk, the oldest market in Oman. Here, you find time to stroll around and hunt for some bargains.

Explore the south coast from Muscat in a traditional dhow. The scene is mesmerizing, with majestic mountains in the background.
This area is known for its wildlife; dolphin pods often swim and play alongside the boats. Whales are also a common sight in the season.

The Royal Opera House is Oman's premier music, arts, and culture destination. The complex has a theatre, auditorium, landscaped gardens, an art center, and cultural markets and can accommodate up to 1100 people. The Royal Opera House was ordered to be built in 2001 by Sultan Qaboos of Oman, a massive classical music and art enthusiast. The house officially opened in 2011 and serves as a center for excellence in the arts and enriches its heritage through culturally diverse programs and events

This walk takes you above the Ophiolite Mountains behind Muttrah, where you have a breathtaking view of Muscat's old town, Muttrah Bay, and the mountains. Afterward, a meal is served in a local restaurant.

It is one of the best experiences you can have in Muscat. The coast of Oman is blessed with a variety of Dolphins & whales, which consist of about 21 different species, including the blue whale, which is seldom seen anywhere else in the world. While it is not guaranteed that you will spot dolphins on every trip, this is an enjoyable experience aboard the sea, where you will search to find the dolphins and, if you're lucky enough, even spot a whale

Extend your Journey to explore Salalah or departure for your flight back home.
