Once you set foot in Jerusalem, you will be swept up in the spirit of this ancient capital. From the legendary Wall imprinted into the history books and the busy bazaars that weave through the city's fabric to the remarkable holy and historical buildings, there is a hidden charm around every corner in Jerusalem.

Embark on our historical adventure to explore the walls & gates of this unique city. The defensive barrier around the town features several entrances, and each one has a unique history and identity. Hear from your guide about their ancient and contemporary state and how they lend to the overall story of Jerusalem. We will continue to the Noble Sanctuary through the Mughrabi Gate; we enter The Noble Sanctuary, where the dazzling Dome of the Rock and Al-Aqsa mosque await us.

On the way to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, we will walk on the exact path that Jesus walked to the site of his crucifixion and resurrection. Besides, you will wander The Four Quarters of the Old City. We'll step back into time and tour the different Quarters of the Old City, where you'll experience four different cultures, culinary delights, and atmospheres; the Muslim, the Christian, the Jewish, and the Armenian. All in one old city. All in one afternoon.

Walking through the Old City will undoubtedly work up your appetite, but luckily, we know the best spots for a local and authentic atmospheric lunch that you will not forget. Afterward, absorb the bustling local vibe of the old market as you stroll through stalls and shops of spices, jewelry, food, souvenirs, and more. 
Visit the Rockefeller Archaeological Museum that is situated in a magnificent white limestone structure. The Rockefeller houses an extraordinary collection of antiquities that provides an excellent opportunity to explore culture and history.

Overnight in Jerusalem

Today's tour will open unique windows into the past of three ancient coastal cities: Jaffa, Caesarea, and Akko. Prepare to experience the perfect blend of preserved history and incredible beaches.

After breakfast at the hotel, we embark on a 65km ride to Jaffa's beautiful seaside city. The alleyways of Jaffa are filled with refreshing aromas of orange groves and fresh fish. A short walking tour here will reveal incredible stories of many civilizations that once inhabited this city.
Perceive the city's port that is the main highlight and one of the World's oldest, most captivating ports.

Pass by Al-Bahr Mosque "The Sea Mosque" overlooks the harbor, and this enduring site was built in the 16th C by the Ottomans. Then ride to Caesarea along the scenic Via Maris or Way of the Sea, an ancient coastal trade route. Enjoy the Caesarea National Park. This magnificent World Heritage Site is a history lover's haven. It encompasses the ruin of an old harbor, the Roman Theater, Herod's Palace, Bathhouses, and more.

Proceed to Akko to savor a delicious Seafood. It's a must to dine at one of the city's seafood restaurants, where the food is fresh, flavorful, and plated to perfection. Afterward, recognize a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Crusader city of Akko offers fortified walls, medieval Crusader buildings, Ottoman-era areas, Baha'i Gardens, and a tangle of cobbled stone streets filled with local shops and restaurants. Return to Jerusalem overnight.

Think of the Holy land, and Bethlehem and Jericho are bound to come to mind. The birthplace of Jesus and the oldest city in the World are significant biblical cities, and they have much to offer for those interested in history and theology. 

We will start our tour upon arrival to Bethlehem with the Separation Wall. A contested eight-meter high barrier is plastered with murals and graffiti. Then built over the cave where Mary gave birth to Jesus, this beautifully structured Nativity Chruch attracts thousands of visitors from all over the World every year.

The tradition of making Olive wood handicrafts began in the 4th Century in Bethlehem to provide souvenirs for Byzantine pilgrims, and it remains a deeply rooted tradition until today. We will meet a local artisan to learn more about this craft and its history. The tour continues to Beit Sahour to visit the field where angels first announced the birth of Christ.

In the afternoon, we will ride from Bethlehem to Jericho. It's about 30 km, and along the way, you'll find exquisite desert views. It'll also be an opportunity to reenergize and get ready for Jericho.
We'll stop on the way to visit this historic site of Makam Al-Nabi Mousa, which is believed to be the shrine of Prophet Moses. It is comprised of a beautiful colorful mosque with a towering minaret that overlooks the impressive Jordan Valley.

Next, you'll witness a unique blend between the ancient, holy, and natural. The monastery of Temptation is the site where Jesus spent 40 days fasting and meditating. Besides, you will have the chance to visit Hisham's Palace.  The Umayyad palace is an example of early Islamic archaeology and is home to the famous "tree of life" mosaic. Overnight in Jericho

Experience two unforgettable wonders in one day: A great fortress standing in the middle of the desert and a dip in the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth.

After breakfast, we will have a Journey to Masada. Drive through the Judean Desert and enjoy scenic desert views, Bedouin villages, and an incredible landscape. King Herod built Masada Fortress around 35 BC, and it is now recognized as a World Heritage Site. Also, we will see Qumran, where the Dead Sea scrolls were found is not to be missed.

After a long day, wash off the dust of the desert with a dip in the salty, therapeutic waters of the Dead Sea. The balance of the day is to float and enjoy the therapy at this fantastic and unique place—overnight in Jerusalem.

It is time to say goodbye and transfer you to the land border or the airport.
