We suggest you today to take a full day trip to Lake Bled, approximately an hour's drive from Ljubljana. 

Explore Bled Castle, take a traditional Pletna boat to Bled Island, and enjoy the stunning lake views. Return to Ljubljana in the evening.
 

In the morning, you can visit Tivoli Park, the largest park in Ljubljana.
