1 Arrival
Transfer to the hotel. Check-in and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight Madrid.
After breakfast, begin your day, boosting Madrid's architectural and cultural beauty on your included Hop on – Hop off City tour. The explanation is offered through a headphones audio system.
There are several stops along the way, and you can board and disembark at any of these stops. Stop at Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, the Royal Palace, and several other Madrid landmarks. 3 Toledo
Today explore Toledo, located around 70km from Madrid, a beautiful city-museum declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO. It is one of the oldest towns in Europe and has superior artistic value and buildings from almost all periods in history (Arabian, Gothic, Mudejar, Renaissance, and Baroque style). Toledo is named the "City of the Three Cultures," as Christians, Muslims, and Jews lived together. In the XVI century, it was also the place of residence of the great painter El Greco. Meet your driver after breakfast and take your private transfer to the train station in Madrid. Board a fast train and rest on your way to Barcelona. The trip takes approx. 3 hours. Upon arrival at Barcelona Train Station, meet your car driver and transfer to the hotel. Check-in and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight Barcelona.
After breakfast, begin your day appreciating Barcelona's main sights on your included Hop on – Hop off City tour. See all the critical pictures of this fantastic city, including the Gothic Quarter, which is the center of the old town of Barcelona.
Walk around the ancient winding streets where many of the buildings dates from medieval times, some from as far back as the Roman settlement of Barcelona. A significant number of facilities are World Heritage Sites. Particularly remarkable is the work of architect Antoni Gaudi, which can be seen throughout the city. His best-known work is the immense but still unfinished Cathedral of the Sagrada Familia, a symbol of Barcelona worldwide that has been under construction since 1882.
The Picasso Museum will spellbind those who appreciate the work of Picasso. If you wish to tread in the footsteps of the artistic genius, you can do so by visiting the landmarks that shaped his youth—perhaps sampling the seafood at Gracia's seafood.
After breakfast, transfer to Barcelona Train Station. Board the train and relax while you travel to Paris Station. The course takes roughly seven hours. Meet your driver as you arrive in Paris and transfer to your hotel. Check-in and spend the balance of the day at leisure.
Stroll along the Seine and the Champs Elysees and stop at one of the Parisian cafés. Perhaps visit the Louvre to catch a glimpse of the Mona Lisa (not included). Paris has fantastic shopping and Galeries Lafayette on Boulevard Haussman is well worth a visit. In the evening perhaps visit one of the famous Paris cabarets such as the Lido or Moulin Rouge (not included). Overnight Paris.
Make your way to the meeting point and board the coach for your tour of Paris. You will pass by many of Paris’s famous monuments such the Champs Elysées, Arc de Triomphe, Place de la Concorde, Les Invalides (Napoleon’s tomb), the Tuileries Gardens, as well as many other fantastic sights. The tour also includes a cruise on the river Seine and a visit to the 2nd floor of the Eiffel Tower.
In the evening, why not explore the Latin Quarter on your own, which is notable for its lively atmosphere and bistros. Overnight Paris.
Today wonder at the sheer size of the Palace of Versailles, one of the World's largest and most stunning castles with a whopping 700 rooms. Peruse its incredible array of fine art and the intricate design of its 1250 fireplaces as you work your way through the highlights of the castle, including the King and Queen's apartments, the Chapel, the Coronation Room, the Hall of Mirrors, and the Salon of Abundance – how many residences can boast one of those? This list of rooms your guide will show you go on and on, each one an entirely different and unique experience from the Peace Room to the Queen's bed-chamber. And just when you think that you have seen all that the Palace of Versailles has to offer, you'll burst into the sunlight and encounter its dazzling manicured gardens, over 1,800 acres in size. Say au revoir to Paris and take your private transfer to the airport/train station.
