Tour Schedule

Embrace Vienna! Upon arrival, at the airport/train station and transfer to the hotel. Check-in and spend the rest of the day at leisure—overnight.

Vienna is famous for its imperial heritage, reflected throughout the beautiful city center and its landmarks. Start at the Opera House and pass numerous famous landmarks such as Burgtheater, the Museum Quarter, Schönbrunn Palace, Belvedere, and Prater – all built on a historic Roman foundation.

Enjoy Vienna's top sights with a 1- or 2-day Big Bus hop-on, a hop-off Sightseeing tour. Pass Schönbrunn Palace, St Stephen's Cathedral, the Belvedere, the Opera House, Museums Quarter, and more.

Explore this beautiful city at your own pace and hop on and off as often you want to explore and visit Vienna's must-see attractions.

What can better way there possibly be for getting to see all there is to see in the fabulous city of Vienna than by cruising along the majestic course of the Danube? Not only is this a relaxing experience that will make you forget all about your day-to-day worries, but it is also one that will provide you with a genuinely unparalleled vantage point of the city's iconic landmarks. Indeed, Vienna looks even more beautiful when contemplated from the waves.

Begin the tour at Schwedenplatz, in the city's heart, right next to the Urania Observatory, and glide alongside the Green Prater forests. After passing through Freudenau, dock at the marina in Vienna. Continue sailing near the Danube island, the Buddhist temple, and the Ernst Happel stadium until reaching Reichsbrücke, in the city's modern side. See the majestic Danube Tower and the Millennium Tower.

Finally, travel along the Danube Canal and admire historic Vienna, dominated by exciting architecture, such as Spittelau, the waste incineration plant, the Rossauer barracks, and the Ring Tower (Ringturm). The adventure comes to an end at the magnificent Urania Observatory.

The drive through the Salzkammergut region will astonish you with its crystal-clear glacial lakes and rising mountains accentuated with white limestone deposits. You'll feel like you're driving in a landscape painting.

The region's name means 'Estate of the Salt Chamber,' and it was here that the Habsburg dynasty became prosperous mining the so-called 'white gold.' Today what glitters are the spectacular lakes carved from the landscape during the Ice Ages. We pass Lake Wolfgang, the region's largest lake. We also drive around the beloved Lake Fuschl protected by Castle Fuschl. Marshy inlets rim the water that is so clean that it's drinkable. The clarity reaches six meters and, even though it's a glacial lake, the water is warm, attracting travelers and Austrians alike.

When we reach Salzburg, the home of the 18th-century musical maestro Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart you will be inspired. We set off to traverse its old town; admire the well-preserved historic center with its elaborate Baroque architecture and well-manicured parks. A UNESCO Heritage Site, Salzburg's old town retains its old-world charm with a vibrant present-day art and music scene. See the top sites and hear an aria or two drifting from the many music halls or homes.

Prolong your stay or transfer to the airport/station for your onward trip.
