Entry of National Citizens by Air

Nationals citizens, permanent residents, and temporary residents will NOT be required to present a COVID test result before boarding the flight to Israel. 

  • All passengers must fill out the entry statement form within 48 hours before departure flight. The sooner, the better.
  • Upon entry to Israel, travelers will be required to take a PCR test in the airport and go into isolation until receiving the negative result on the test or for 24 hours, whichever is earlier.

This guidance applies to all national travelers, including those who have not been vaccinated or recovered from COVID.

Entry for foreigners Citizens by Air

Foreign nationals may enter Israel even if they have not been vaccinated or recovered from COVID.

Foreign travelers who stayed outside Israel for more than 72 hours will be required to present one of the following documents:

  • A negative result of a PCR test was created 72 hours before boarding the flight to Israel.
  • Positive result on a rapid (antigen) test at an official testing site, or a PCR test, taken less than three months prior, provided the traveler enters Israel at least on day 8 after the test (the test date is considered day 1.
  • All passengers must fill out the entry statement form within 48 hours before departure to Israel; the earlier, the better.

All passengers will take another PCR test at the airport and go into isolation until receiving the negative result on the PCR or 24 hours, whichever is earlier.

This guidance applies to all foreign nationals entering Israel, including those who have not been vaccinated or recovered from COVID.
