Journey to The Heart Of The Middle East | 12 Days / 11 Nights

Itinerary

Day 1: Tel Aviv airport – overnight in the hotel

Arrival and direct transfer from Ben Gurion Airport to hotel in  for dinner and overnight there.

Day 2: Tel Aviv- Acre (Akko) – Haifa 

After breakfast at the hotel, we unfold our maps and follow the road to discover astonishing cities on the Mediterranean coastline. Out first stop will be at the legendary city of Akko. Upon arriving there, the city opens up its walls for you to read through the history of the countless civilizations who inhabited this place. We’ll start off by walking on the walls of the city getting along the way a panoramic skyline view of Acre. Afterwards, we’ll head off to see the fortress and tunnels of the crusaders, dating from over a millennia. Then we’ll roam in the old city, visit Al-Jazzar Mosque, and experience the sounds, colors, and tastes of the real Akko in the old market. We proceed our journey to Haifa, the jewel of the Palestinian coast. We stop at Haifa's most celebrated sight, the Baha'i shrine and tropical garden where we’ll have breathtaking bird’s-eye views of the city and sea. the day ends at the serene beaches of Haifa.

Day 3: Haifa- Tiberius- Nazareth

After breakfast, we embark a journey to Tiberius, An astounding city hugging the shores of the Sea of Galilee. We’ll  start the tour with a boat ride on the beautiful and scenic, Sea of Galilee. During this ride, you’ll view the remains of a boat that dates back to the time of Jesus and enjoy stunning views of the Golan Heights in the background. Afterwards, a visit to some outstanding biblical sites in the area is awaiting. Then we reach the southern region of the Kinneret where the Jordan River flows into the Sea of Galilee and where Jesus was baptized. 

End of the day, we head to Nazareth for overnight 

Day 4: Nazareth- Ramallah 

Breakfast at the hotel, then we start the day in Nazareth, Jesus’s hometown. we’ll walk in his footsteps as we tour the magnificent Church of the Annunciation. Nearby, we’ll find the Church of Saint Joseph where Jesus’ father, Joseph, had his carpentry. Then we’ll explore the uniquely Middle-Eastern atmosphere in the markets of the Old City (souq).

 By the end of the day we say Farwell Northern Palestine, and we head to Ramallah for dinner and  overnight there.

Day 5: Ramallah- Ein Qinya – Ramallah

Grab a hat and put on your hiking shoes! We are about to spend an unforgettable day in the breathtaking wilderness of Palestine. We’ll head for a relatively short hike in the beautiful village of Ein Qinya during which we’ll have an outdoor breakfast that will include, among other options, Falafel and Hummus (delicious traditional food). Then, after we wander in the dazzling nature and see natural springs, we’ll end this tiring yet Memorable hike in the best way ever by having homemade Muskhan (a tasty Palestinian cuisine dish) in a humble local restaurant. 
Next, we go back to Ramallah for a tour in the downtown and center of Ramallah. Where we’ll explore its markets along with a wide array of shops. In the evening, we will have a chance to watch a Dabkeh show, traditional Palestinian dance. Overnight in Ramallah.

Day 6: Ramallah-Hebron- Bethlehem 

After having breakfast, we set off to Hebron. The route begins in the old market (souq) with its arched roofs, maze of alleys, and colorful stalls and shops that sell handcrafts, pottery, food, ... Next we visit the Abraham Mosque, a holy site for Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Afterwards, we get to learn about the traditional methods of making glass and ceramics at Hebron Glass & Ceramics Factory where we can also buy some beautiful, timeless glass pieces.  
The journey continues to Bethlehem, the locus of holy and historical sites. We first stop at one of the city’s top attractions, the birthplace of Jesus Christ, Church of the Nativity. The holy city continues to amaze us once we arrive at the marvelous Burak Suleiman (the Pools of Solomon) and the picturesque village of Al-Khadr.

Day7: Bethlehem- Jerusalem 

We leave Bethlehem to Jerusalem, a city like no other. We enter the old city of Jerusalem ,the ancient melting pot of religions and culture, through one of the seven gates. We walk in the old and narrow alleys which lead to Aqsa Mosque, Dome of Rock and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, some of the most important sites in Islam and Christianity. Then we follow the Fragrances of incense, coffee, spices and candle smoke drifting from the old market where we’ll try some traditional food. Then we end the day with a breath-taking panoramic view of Jerusalem from the top of Mount of Olives.

Overnight in Jerusalem

Day 8: Jerusalem - Jericho- Jordan - Dead sea

After breakfast, we head off to Jericho, the oldest city on earth. Upon arrival there, we’ll visit Maqam Al-Nabi Musa then Hisham's Palace. Next, we transfer you to Allenby bridge to cross the border into Jordan where you’ll be transferred to the dead sea for an overnight there.

Day 9: Dead Sea- Petra

Spend half a day 400 meters below sea level at the dead sea, Sunbath at its shores, float on the salty water and you mustn’t skip the black mud body scrubbing to get smooth and clean skin. After getting pampered at the dead sea, we drive to Petra to stay overnight there. 

Day 10: Petra- Wadi rum 

After breakfast, we leave to explore one of the greatest tourist attractions, AL PETRA. An ancient spectacular city carved inside a mountain. We’ll  learn a brief history of the place, marvel at its thrilling beauty, and ride camels. To make this lifetime trip more adventurous, we’ll drive to Wadi Rum where we’ll experience glimpse of life in the desert, go on a jeep tour around the area, and sleep over at one of the camps there.

Day 11: Wadi Rum- Jerash- Amman 

after breakfast, we drive to Jerash to marvel at one of the largest and most well preserved Roman ruins in the world outside Italy. We will walk through the ancient city and observe the fascinating colonnaded streets, theaters, public baths and fountains.

Day 12: Amman- Airport  

Check out from hotel in Amman, Direct transfer to the Airport.
